On-Site Dialysis
Our NEW hemodialysis area offers experienced, individualized care for patients requiring management of their kidney disease. Featuring advanced hemodialysis machines and comfortable reclining chairs, this program, provided by DaVita is supported by a team of registered nurses and technicians who specialize in maximizing the progress of each patient’s treatment.
Wound Care
We utilize an innovative, interdisciplinary approach to treat chronic wounds. This multi-system approach relies on advanced treatments and therapies, including E-Stim, ultrasound, negative pressure therapies, ultraviolet therapy and debridement. All consultations are onsite and care is given by our own certified wound care nurses.
Short-Term Rehabilitation
Our primary goal is to help guests recover their strength and restore their confidence and independence. Our comprehensive and therapeutic approach to post-hospital rehabilitation is specifically designed to help reduce their pain, improve their living skills, and enjoy greater functionality overall.
We offer the area’s highest patient-to-therapist ratio, along with two gyms, one focused on cardio and pulmonary rehab, the other on specialized restorative therapy 7-days a week. This comprehensive approach to physical rehabilitation and therapy often allows our guests to return home in as little as 7 days.
Memory Care
Bella Terra Lombard offers a range of services to support residents who live with the challenges of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. We understand the nature of this complex condition and work to minimize its effects on the medical, physical and behavioral health of our residents. Upon arrival, an experienced and specially trained memory care team creates a customized plan of care for each resident. Family members are included in the planning, contributing knowledge on each individual’s preferred habits and interests. The goal is to increase the level of function, interaction, and engagement in the world while simultaneously providing a calm, safe and anxiety-reducing environment that supports improvement.
